I listen
Sweet vibrations of distant drums

I listen.
My king will soon come

His heartbeat close to me again
I listen.

His rhythms gently coaxing
I listen.

His drums resonating in my veins

I listen.
His breathing on my lips

I listen.
It will be my supplication.

Perseverance

When you go through tragedy,
When you go through pain,
perseverance is what you seek,
when it rains,
Imagine the suffering,
the world going through,
and the people,
that's given up their lives',
to take care of you,
Look in your heart ,
see through the pain,
when it storms,
sometime it has to rain,
but there a hand guiding you,
through your trials and tribulation,
God' pours His love,
into your head,
to give you salvation,
you'll find coking up to heaven,
the skies ,
are not always blue,
but it's building your faith,
in what you're going through
why, because God's
in love with you
so when you feel helpless,
and when you feel down,
sometime you feel God.
is no where to be found,
rejoice, in the hope of glory.
of the victory that's won',
be still, now stand,
we live under,
the light of the son,
perseverance, builds character,
these are the qualities,
that's in you,
wisdom, kindness, meekness,
humility, and spirituality too,
so perseverance,
is the substance'
that's deep in your heart

perserverance
is just insurance,
tolerated
from the start.

My Drum

l can fly because l have a drum,
like a bird high in the sky
l can sing and chant with my drum ,
drink tropical punch and rum
sounds like drum fun
Ha-ha - come on lets dance.
